The Winter Farmers' Market, in its 5th year, is a holiday shopping opportunity with local vendors managed by Downtown Akron Partnership. Enjoy a variety of fresh baked goods, herbs, homemade candies, plants, pottery, bakery items, wood carvings, jams and preserves, wines, crafted gift items and more. The market is held in conjunction with the Downtown Akron Holidayfest at Lock 3. The 2-day market is inside the basement of O'Neil's. There will be hourly door prizes, a children's Make & Take area, holiday music and an artist doing free caricatures (Saturday noon-4 p.m.).
