Q&A w/ Natalie Sullinger-

How do you feel about winning NOTO's local Designers Challenge?!!-

It is such an honor to be the winner of the Challenge! It was something I was very passionate about and excited to do and I am so thankful for everyone that came to show and voted for my looks!

What inspires you?

I take inspiration from almost anything. I’m always getting ideas from magazines, outfits I see people wearing, fabric I find in the store. I actually refuse to throw away any of my magazines because I always love getting new ideas from the old looks.

What do you love about fashion?

I love how it’s a form of expression. The way a person dresses usually says something about them and since fashion is always changing, you can always find new ways to present yourself while still keeping your personality within the outfit.

Is afraid of?-

Tornadoes! I’ve never actually experienced one but I’m still really afraid it’ll happen. You can always find me in front of the television watching the weather channel when storms are coming!

Loves to?-

Sew, of course! But also spend time with my friends and family, go to Cedar Point, read, and listen to music. Even when my loud sewing machine is running I have to have the music playing louder!

Has a weakness for?-

Junk food, shoes, and anything and everything involving Nick Jonas

Why should we be excited for your collection coming to NOTO?-

It’s my first time selling my clothing so I am so excited for it and am working really hard! I love summer so I think my designs will capture the carefree feeling of it but still make you look put together and fresh.

Anything else weird we should know about you?:)-

I have a very unique memory. I can remember what I did and what I wore on a lot of random days throughout the year. For example, I know exactly what I did from June 1-June 5 last year and lots of other dates from last summer. A lot of people are amazed by the random dates I remember in my life but I always thought it was completely normal!
